Cynthia Bond Hopson, Ph.D., is an author, speaker, educator, consultant.
She is interim president and CEO of Philander-Smith University in Little Rock, Arkansas. Founded in 1877, Philander Smith University is a small, privately supported, historically Black, four-year liberal arts institution related to the Board of Higher Education and Ministry of the United Methodist Church.
Prior to her role at Philander-Smith, she served as chief equity officer, assistant general secretary - The Black College Fund, at the United Methodist General Board of Higher Education & Ministry.
