Kimberly Morton, Ph.D.
Kimberly Morton, Ph.D., is the Director of TRIO: Student Support Services at Washington University in St. Louis. Her primary responsibility is to provide management of the day-to-day operations. She also provides leadership in developing and implementing services to ensure high quality, effective experiences for first-generation, low-income students and students with disabilities.
Morton is also the founding chair of the Black Faculty and Staff Cabinet at Washington University. She serves as an adjunct professor at Washington University in the Department of Education.
Morton, who earned her Ph.D. in Educational Management – Higher Education from Hampton University, has 21 years of education experience on the middle school, high school, collegiate, non-profit and federal levels.
She has a passion to work with underserved and marginalized students, providing academic resources, college access opportunities and assisting students with navigating their path to graduation.
